Within the Groupe AIM, we work with round, square, rectangular and profiled tubes which are then integrated into mechanically welded assemblies by 2 complementary processes: cutting and bending.
Our cutting equipment enables us to cut all shapes, from the simplest to the most complex, on tube sections ranging from 12 mm to 150 mm.
Thanks to its flexibility, the tube laser allows the production of small, medium and large series, with precision and repeatability of the cut. It also optimizes manufacturing costs through programming and reduces scrap.
Once cut to customer specifications, we proceed to bend the tube. Bending is a mechanical action which consists of cold deforming a tube to obtain the desired shape by means of rollers pressing on the tube. By defining the bending angle and the radius, we obtain the desired bend. Our bending machines accept tube sections from 12 mm to 60 mm, thickness 4 mm.
Made-to-measure cutting of tubes and profiles
We are able to respond to all our customers’ projects, whether they are standard or specific. The transformation of the tube can be done according to specifications, drawings or in co-design with our industrialization and methods teams. A fully personalised study can be offered, from design to feasibility calculations.
We can then ensure the assembly of the parts, various surface treatments or painting thanks to the multitude of know-how present within the Groupe AIM.
