Thanks to the production of tools in-house and also maintenance, we control the various stages of tool construction and maintenance. This know-how ensures a link between the design office and mass production. Based on more than 40 years of experience, our skills in TOOLING are recognised by all our customers.
We produce different types of press tooling. Follow-on (or progressive) tools, rework tools and transfer tools. We offer the most suitable process according to the type of parts to be produced and the needs of our customers. We design tools for the automotive market and also for other industrial sectors (capital goods, heating, household appliances, etc.)

Cutting-edge technology
Using the latest software and programs, our design and engineering teams optimise the feasibility of your projects according to your specifications. We intervene in the upstream phase with our prototype workshop, to assist our customers in their product studies. Before validating the design of their product, our clients call on our expertise to find the best compromise between function, cost and feasibility.
Thanks to our prototyping workshop, we can reassure our customers by validating new designs and by devising innovative processes in terms of sheet metal formability. We thus guarantee the feasibility of the parts in relation to our customers’ functional expectations.
Multi-purpose workshops
The new TOOLING workshop, located on the METASEVAL site, has about twenty experienced people. This workshop produces tooling for the Groupe AIM sites as well as for its customers.
Our designers in the research department design tools in accordance with customer specifications, backed up by solid feedback from production and maintenance.
Our experienced toolmakers assemble the tools in accordance with the designers’ drawings, and carry out the fine-tuning on our test presses, before production on a mass production press. Throughout the development phases, a project manager, who guarantees the industrialisation of new products, ensures communication with the customer.
