QSE approach
With the constant concern for the quality of our services, we have set ourselves the objective of continuously improving our processes by implementing an integrated Quality, Safety and Environment management system.
This approach is based on four strategic axes:
- Listening to our customers and other stakeholders,
- Improving our performance,
- Respect the environment by limiting the impact of our activities,
- Advancing health and safety prevention in the workplace
As part of the Groupe AIM’s policy of continuous progress, we are committed to a Quality approach that has enabled us to obtain ISO 9001 certification in 1999, ISO TS 16949 in 2004 and finally IATF 16949 in 2017.
We have decided to continue by complying with the ISO 14001 environmental standard, in order to carry out our industrial activities with a minimum of harm to our external environment.
This approach, which aims to do everything possible to ensure a high level of environmental quality, is voluntary and is perfectly in line with our action to improve the quality of the service offered to all our Customers.
-
Our Quality policy is based on a global approach aimed at energising people and reducing malfunctions by capitalising on experience and observation (indicators), in order to put in place relevant procedures to anticipate potential risks.
It is based on the following five major points:
- Control of flows
- Measurement and control
- Anticipation,
- The quality of people
- Processes and resources
In concrete terms, it is based on quantified objectives, an appropriate organisation, precise responsibilities and resources specific to the quality function.
-
In the Groupe AIM, environmental considerations are an integral part of our practices. We strive to reduce the environmental impact of our manufacturing processes, right from the design phase.
Our commitments for all Groupe AIM entities:
- Minimise the direct environmental impact of our day-to-day operations by improving waste sorting and reduction and reducing energy (electricity, gas) and water consumption.
- Continuously improve our environmental performance through the implementation of measurement indicators, periodic inspection rounds, internal audits and action plans.
- Respecting regulatory and legal requirements by keeping a regulatory watch on texts and laws and by implementing a compliance action programme.
- Raise awareness, train and involve employees in the sites’ environmental objectives and targets.
This commitment is guaranteed by a periodic evaluation of the Quality-Environment Management System led by the Groupe AIM’s QSE Department and the sites’ QSE Managers and by the implementation of an operational improvement programme.
-
The physical and psychological integrity of our teams is our top priority. We are therefore committed to doing everything possible to create safe working conditions and a healthy working environment for all.
Groupe AIM is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees in the production workshops or offices.
Our action programme is based on the following areas:
- Communication of the information required for employees to carry out their work safely and in a healthy manner,
- Fitting out and ergonomics of workstations (including handling aids), within the framework of the regulatory provisions relating to the difficulty of working,
- Air purification of premises with specific pollution (welding, grinding, descaling, sanding)
- Safety of installations and equipment.
All the teams are mobilised to implement these preventive actions and initiatives. It is a responsibility shared between management, sector and department managers, and all employees, each at their own level.
We make this a daily priority and believe that the cooperation and collaboration of all are essential values in making the plant a workplace where everyone can develop and work in complete safety.
