In the Groupe AIM, we consider purchasing and our relationships with suppliers with the utmost care, aware of their strategic aspect with regard to both our customers and our own development. With this in mind, our Purchasing organisation is structured around 3 fundamental missions:
-
They are the representatives of the Purchasing function on the various sites of the group: support and referral to the Management, coordination of urgent procurement issues and proposal of sustainable solutions, reporting on the management of operational budgets, handling of disputes, negotiation of price conditions, management of site suppliers not included in the Group panel), non-recurring local purchases, and coordination of site productivity actions (in conjunction with the teams concerned).
-
They support the commercial and technical teams, whether on consultation projects (provision of price lists, provision of contact details for the suppliers concerned) or on projects in progress (creating the necessary supplier accounts, negotiating the conditions for the execution of the new contract, defining the logistical conditions with the department concerned, support for the qualification of the products purchased).
All these actions are carried out in compliance with our Quality system: criteria for choosing a supplier, drawing up supplier specifications by business line, auditing the application of the Group’s instructions and procedures, strict monitoring of supplier certifications, supplier quotations, etc.
