Onboarding : a key challenge for our company
The integration of new employees is a critical issue for our company. Aware of the importance of this process, we launched an internal project to improve and optimize integration. This project, which began more than six months ago, mobilized a dedicated team to review and simplify our integration processes.
One of the major aspects of this project was the overhaul of our integration files. We have harmonized and standardized these documents across all our sites, making the administrative part simpler and smoother. Thanks to these standardized files, internal teams gain efficiency, and new employees benefit from a seamless integration experience.
The new pathway allows for the personalization of the new employee’s integration so that they can quickly feel part of the Group and also take on their role more easily. Here are some examples of our integration within the Group:
- AIM Welcome Pack: Upon arrival, the new employee receives a Welcome Pack filled with goodies to start their adventure with us on a positive note.
- Personalized Integration Path: This path, tailored to the new employee’s role, allows them to meet key contacts and obtain the necessary tools and information for their position.
- Integration Video: A video to understand the safety instructions and the rules of our Group.
- Workshop Visits: To discover our trades, meet colleagues, and understand our production processes.
- Teams Trained in Integration: We have created a Best Practices Integration Guide mainly for managers to ensure that each new employee is integrated in the best possible way.
There are still a few documents to finalize, such as a Newcomer’s Guide. This guide will facilitate integration within the company but also aims to help those who have recently moved to settle into their new environment. The guide will offer tips for restaurants, outings, and local associations, as well as information on transportation and dining options near our workplaces. We hope to make the integration experience even more pleasant and welcoming.
The integration project is nearing completion but will remain open to continuous improvements. We are convinced that this meticulous integration process is the key to a sustainable and fruitful collaboration.
