AIMM (Laval) is soon to invest in a new laser cutting centre. To modernise its pool of machines, the AIMM site is going to integrate a new laser cutting machine. This machine with a capacity of 1500 × 3000 and equipped with a 6-kW fibre technology source should enable the site to increase its production capacity and resolve certain identified problems (safety and flow for example). It will be equipped with an automatic sheet loading/unloading system as well as a part-to-part sorting system in order to avoid manual sorting workstations that often cause MSD. This new equipment should be operational by the end of November after a three-week installation and training period.
OTIMA Industries (La Selle en Luitré) has just acquired a brand new, digitally controlled TRUMPF T5000 punching machine. This is an important milestone for OTIMA Industries, which is seeing its machine park evolve, and is a symbol of Groupe AIM’s long-term commitment to its recent Breton site.
The T5000 is a large format punching machine that opens up a broad range of possibilities. This new digitally controlled machine allows for greater flexibility through:
- Reliable loading/unloading and sorting of parts (Sheetmaster)
- Comfortable handling of the skeletons on the punching machine (GripMaster)
- Tool magazine system with 54 stations in concurrent time (ToolMaster Linear)
This investment increases the productivity and safety of our processes with automation components and smart functions. Coinciding with this purchase, employee training sessions are being held this week. The OTIMA Industries teams are delighted to welcome this new punching machine in replacement of an older one.
ADELMA (Morocco) has also expanded its machine park with two new investments:
- A press brake (130 Tons, 4 metres, 8 axes) which will compensate for the obsolescence of the current machines, but also carry out complex bending, which is in increasing demand from various clients.
- A laser-cutting machine (4 kW, CO², 3000 × 1500). This machine will complement the site’s punching machine and will improve flexibility in terms of client deadlines. This investment will make the site more autonomous and will avoid the need to subcontract this operation.
