LAFUMA Mobilier, the season comes to an end

 

LAFUMA MOBILIER, a specialist in garden furniture, has been manufacturing a complete range of outdoor furniture in Anneyron since 1954. This internationally renowned French specialist has entrusted us with the launch of a new range of tables this season. The Balcony range, a folding table available in 4 colours, was developed jointly by our two companies.

The challenge during the design stage was to be able to offer the table top at a competitive price. To achieve this, the ROMAIRE teams innovated by proposing to shape the rounded corners using a dedicated folding tool provided by Wilson-Tool (a tool 100% financed by LAFUMA Mobilier).

This tool reduced costs by eliminating the need for welded quarter inserts. We were thus able to achieve the Target Price and conclude this first collaboration.

Initially planned for a requirement of 3,000 pieces at launch, the table was a great success and this season ended at the beginning of June with the production of more than 8,000 pieces.

The next season will start in September, with the Balcony range once again in production.  We are delighted to be renewing our partnership with LAFUMA MOBILIER.
