Business development in the Group

Within the Groupe AIM, our skills and expertise fall into two distinct fields:

• Cutting / stamping
• Thin and industrial sheet metal.

This complementarity is a strength that enables us to expand our presence in the automotive sector and, in conjunction with this, within a variety of different industrial sectors.

This development strategy has allowed us to achieve balance in our activities and avoid over-dependency in any one direction, improve our flexibility and responsiveness and intensify our continuous improvement measures by taking into account parallel requirements.

These development priorities are part of our “HORIZON 2025” strategic plan. Two projects in the heating sector are already underway at the METASEVAL site, and at TDM some very interesting prospects for development are in the course of finalization.

The Groupe AIM has an offer that appeals to customers, consolidates our partnership with historical customers and allows us to initiate business projects with new manufacturers.

Another of our development priorities is the tool business. With the integration of METASEVAL, our areas of expertise have been extended to include the comprehensive production of new tools with the help of our design office and well-equipped machining centre.

Thanks to our in-house tool production and maintenance capability, we have control of effect all the construction and maintenance stages necessary for tooling. The expansion of this activity allows us complete autonomy over the cutting / stamping process.

This internalization of the operation is a definite advantage for the Group: we are able to create tools to transfer bending loads on the presses so as to improve quality, increase the work rate, and more easily execute complex forms.
