AIMM Lean Supply Chain project

Our AIMM site (Laval) has been growing steadily for several years, with a sharp acceleration in recent months. This development has led to saturation of the site at all levels: storage, productivity, flows (information & physical), forcing it to respond to technical optimisation challenges.

To support this growth, the Group decided to initiate a process to transform the site’s supply chain. This approach, carried out in collaboration with EliteOrga, is based on 27 improvement projects, grouped under 6 pillars:

  • Storage,
  • Flow management,
  • Layout,
  • Productivity,
  • Capacity,
  • Human resources.

There are multiple objectives for this major project:

  • A transformed site with clear flows and prospects for development
  • A global Supply Chain master plan planned and defined
  • Productivity gains in a number of operations
  • A roadmap for the transformation of the site’s Supply Chain defined

As part of this major project, all the site’s employees will be trained in Lean Management and will be certified White Belt or Yellow Belt.
