A Thermal Oxidizer from IVA

Since April, the IVA teams have been working on setting up a thermal oxidiser linked to the liquid paint line on the Vibraye (72) site.

This investment of over €700,000 is part of an ecological and societal approach. The aim of the installation is to make the paint line almost neutral, by exceeding the regulatory threshold.

This 20-metre-long oxidiser captures solvent-containing waste, concentrates it, and then burns it at over 700°C. Thanks to this technology, we have seen a 95% reduction in our VOC (volatile organic compounds: solvent) emissions, substantially limiting our environmental impact.

No training was required, as the machine operates autonomously.
BROFIND, the supplier, can adjust the parameters of the oxidiser remotely if a problem arises.

This major investment has enabled IVA to meet both regulatory and environmental requirements.
